  • Submit a State Application: After fulfilling all of the above the requirements, you must apply for a certification. Before doing so you should verify with your program about your eligibility.
  • Get your Fingerprints: If you are a first-time applicant, you need to be fingerprinted. This requirement is considered necessary for a national criminal background check.
