Back to School Assistance For Killeen ISD Students

 With KISD schools set to open on Monday, August 15th, 2022 for the upcoming 2022-23 session, the school district has provided numerous resources for students, parents, and guardians for a smooth school start. The information resource can help students and their parents/ guardians to know what to expect and what is required to be done to prepare for the upcoming school session.

 


 Information For Students, Parents and Guardians

Attendance Zones: Search by street name, campus or zone to browse through the addresses and campuses in that attendance zone. For further queries regarding the attendance zone, please contact at (254) 336 - 0366.

High School Readiness: It is an opportunity for high school students to come to campus and receive important back-to-school information before the first day of school. (High School - August 9, 10, 11).

Middle School Readiness: This opportunity allows middle school students to come to campus and receive important back-to-school information before the first day of school. (Middle School - August 10, 2022).

Meet the Teacher: Parents and students can come to their campus to meet their teachers (at your student’s assigned campus).  This is a come-and-go event for all Elementary and Middle Schools; to be held on Thursday, August 11, 2022.

  • Elementary Schools - 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
  • Middle Schools - 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM

High School Open House: It offers an opportunity for parents and students to visit their campus. 

  • Date: September 6, 2022
  • Time: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

    Bus Mobile App:  Edulog Parent Portal Lite smartphone app helps parents receive information about their child’s school bus ride; allowing them to see real-time information about the location of the child’s school bus and to receive notifications when the bus is getting close.

    Please note: Parents and guardians will be able to get the Bus Route information from KISD through the Home Access Center (HAC) in August. If your child is eligible but you didn't opt-in for transportation, please contact your student's campus.

    School Menus: Killeen ISD offers nutritious food to its students. Go to www.schoolcafe.com and click on view Menus and select Breakfast or Lunch. Click on 'Create A New Account' and follow the prompts, to create an account.
